St. Elpitha Philoptochos Sisters’ Memorial Service.

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Egg Harbor Township, NJ

Sunday, September 22nd, following the Divine Liturgy Service at 9.30am.

Our Holy Trinity Church is holding a Memorial Service, for our dearly beloved and respected Presvitera Stella, and Presvitera Ioanna, and our dearly beloved mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, wives, sisters, daughters, aunts, and our sisters in Christ, who have fallen asleep in the Lord.

We hope you can join us as your loved one’s name will be read.  May their memory be eternal.   Αιωνια τους η μνημη.

On behalf of Father George and the Holy Trinity family, we invite you to join us, as we commemorate their beautiful memory.

After the Memorial Service, please join us for fellowship and refreshments.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Opening Prayer

Blessed are you, O Lord, teach me your commandments. Give rest, O God, to your servants and place them in Paradise, where the choirs of the saints and the just, O Lord, shine like stars. Give rest to your servant who has fallen asleep, overlooking all of their transgressions.

Closing Prayer.

For you, O Christ our God, are the resurrection, the life and the repose of your departed servants, who have fallen asleep and you we glorify together with your eternal Father and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

Christ is Risen!  Truly He is Risen!

Χριστος Ανεστη!  Αληθος Ανεστη!

We wish everyone a glorious Resurrection of our Lord.  Thank you for joining us for Holy Week Services, Resurrection Sunday and Agape Vesper Services.

It is the day of the Resurrection.  Let us shine brightly for the festival, and also embrace one another.  Brethren, let us say even to those who hate us, “Let us forgive everything for the Resurrection.”  And thus let us cry aloud, “Christ is Risen from the dead, by death trampling down upon death, and to those in the tombs He has granted life.”
