Fathers’ Day Memorial Service Invitation

Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, EHT., NJ.

  Sunday, June 23, 2019, at 9.30am.

Our Holy Trinity Church is holding a Memorial Service for our dearly beloved, departed fathers, grandfathers, husbands, sons, brothers, uncles, and our brothers in Christ.

May their memory be eternal.

Our Parish Council invite you to join us, as we commemorate their beautiful memory, and afterwards to enjoy refreshments and fellowship.

On behalf of Father George and the Parish Council at Holy Trinity Church, we look forward to welcoming you at the worship service.

Opening Prayer

Blessed are you, O Lord, teach me your commandments. Give rest, O God, to your servants and place them in Paradise, where the choirs of the saints and the just, O Lord, shine like stars. Give rest to your servant who has fallen asleep, overlooking all of their transgressions.

Closing Prayer.

For you, O Christ our God, are the resurrection, the life and the repose of your departed servants, who have fallen asleep and you we glorify together with your eternal Father and your all-holy, good and life-giving Spirit, now and forever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen!

Christ is Risen!  Truly He is Risen!

Χριστος Ανεστη!  Αληθος Ανεστη!

We wish everyone a glorious Resurrection of our Lord.  Thank you for joining us for Holy Week Services, Resurrection Sunday and Agape Vesper Services.

It is the day of the Resurrection.  Let us shine brightly for the festival, and also embrace one another.  Brethren, let us say even to those who hate us, “Let us forgive everything for the Resurrection.”  And thus let us cry aloud, “Christ is Risen from the dead, by death trampling down upon death, and to those in the tombs He has granted life.”
